So we are shifting gears (pun intended) with Gears of Resistance. I’ve come to realize that there are tons of great electronics tutorial videos out there already. I love the idea of an Open Source Hardware podcast, but just can’t dedicate the time to do really awesome how-to videos right now. So we’re going to “pivot” as they say in the start-up world. GoR is going to be predominantly an audio podcast, and doing visual stuff like we’ve been doing just doesn’t work. What does work is talking about new OSHW platforms, interviews with people doing OSHW, and talk about what it’s like to run an embedded design studio built on OSHW. We will occasionally do videos for things like project overviews or product reviews.

I personally love doing the electronics 101 stuff, but I think I need to focus on something that is more unique and can be done justice given the limited time I have to put this together. So, stick around, things are going to get real awesome, real fast!

With all that said, we start off with a chat about what my little embedded product design studio does and how it came to be.
