Screen Shot 2014-05-15 at 11.36.19 PMSome people say the free and open Internet is under attack, in reality what is at stake is much greater.  At the risk of sounding alarmist, what really is at stake is Free Speech.  The Internet is the Town Square of the 21st century and the rules the FCC is currently considering will kill free speech and net neutrality in one swipe of the pen.  Imagine for every popular website you want to access you have to pay a little more?  Think cable television packages for the Internet.  It’s time to repeat what we did to bust the telephone companies up, remember paying ungodly amounts of money for long distance calls?  We need to classify broadband ISPs as “common carrier” … in short Comcast and Time-Warner don’t get to install tollbooths on the Internet. If you want to save the Internet and Free Speech you needed to contact the FCC and Congress and let them know you demand that Net Neutrality be preserved.  Some resource to make this esier:
